Liquid level switches

 

The ALP Industrial series of liquid level switches are engineered to support industrial-grade supply voltages and outputs, capable of directly driving higher power loads.

This solid-state sensor, controlled by a microcontroller, features an infrared LED and phototransistor that are optically aligned at the sensor tip when exposed to air. Upon immersion in liquid, the infrared light is dispersed, causing a shift in the output state. The sensor is designed to detect the presence or absence of a wide variety of liquids, whether oil- or water-based. It remains unaffected by ambient light and operates reliably even with foam in air or small bubbles in liquid.

A range of N and P type output configurations can sink or source up to 1 A.
