OXL Series

Optical Oxygen Sensors

The All Sensors optical oxygen sensor family, OXL, consists of factory-calibrated sensors that measure ambient oxygen levels using luminescence-based optical technology. This advanced technology ensures accurate calculation of oxygen concentration while maintaining low power operation and offering a significantly longer lifespan compared to electrochemical and galvanic sensors.

The OXL sensors are fully solid-state and contain no lead or liquid electrolytes, making them fully RoHS compliant. We offer a variety of housing options, including standard housings for complete immersion, sealed base housings, and flow-through housings. Additionally, they demonstrate minimal cross-sensitivity, making them suitable for applications where other technologies may be unreliable due to the specific gas mixtures.

These sensors are also internally temperature compensated, eliminating the need for temperature adjustments in customer designs. They interface directly with a customer’s UART, removing the requirement for additional signal conditioning circuitry. Unlike electrochemical sensors, OXL sensors provide significant benefits due to their insensitivity to environmental factors such as pressure and temperature.
