ALP Digital Series

Liquid level switches

The ALP digital series of liquid level switches are perfect for use in confined spaces where a compact, low-energy, and cost-effective sensing solution is required.

This sensor, controlled by a microcontroller, operates using solid-state technology, featuring an infrared LED and phototransistor that are optically aligned at the sensor tip when it is exposed to air. Upon submersion in liquid, the infrared light emitted by the ALP digital sensor is dispersed, causing the output state to change. The sensor is designed to detect the presence or absence of a wide variety of liquids, whether oil- or water-based. It remains unaffected by ambient light and operates reliably even with foam in air or small bubbles in liquid.

The TTL compatible push-pull output can sink and source up to 100 mA.
